A feature film in development, “Enter… the Afro” was recently announced a winner in the Communities.com 2000 Short Film Festival. Produced and directed by Jesse Kitten (Mahogany, Hollywood Shuffle), and featuring Ron Hall (Bloodsport 2) and Richard Trask (Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper, In Living Color), this action-comedy spoof of martial arts films concerns a young man who dreams that he’s in a Kung Fu movie!

The film was also selected for the 2021 Pan African Film Festival, further highlighting its cultural relevance and growing recognition on the international film circuit. With its blend of satire, nostalgia, and high-energy action, Enter… the Afro promises to deliver a fresh and unforgettable cinematic experience.
